Here you will find information about beginner crochet & Knitting lessons.
We would love to teach you individually, you and a friend or your small group of 3-12. Just reach out to the shop for more information and get on our schedule!
Beginner Group & Individual
Crochet Lessons
Ages 16 & Up.

At least 3 students must be signed up
in order for class to be held.
Needed Supplies:

Medium Weight #4 yarn in a solid, light color.

5mm or 5.5mm hook

We offer individual and small group beginner crochet classes that are limited to 10 students (ages 16 & up.)
The class is 3, 1 1 hour sessions that are a week apart.
Session 1: Students will learn to make a slip knot, hold tension, front and back loop & chain stitch.
Session 2: Students will learn the single crochet, turning chain & how to count stitches.
Session 3: Students will learn how to make the half double and double crochet, as well as the slip stitch. Basic pattern reading is incorporated into each lesson.

This group class is taught in two parts, one class each week for two consecutive weeks. Each class is 90 minutes long.
Session #1: Students learn how to make a slip knot, cast on and the knit stitch.
Session #2: Students learn how to make the purl stitch and bind off.
